The image no longer tells the truth.

It is a construction, not evidence.

I am Flavian Savescu, visual artist and researcher from Reșița. I work at the intersection of photography, digital intervention, and generative systems — exploring how the image is produced, negotiated, and reinterpreted in a culture dominated by algorithms. My practice is inseparable from research: every visual project is, simultaneously, a question about the status of the image and about the author's responsibility toward it.

Exploring the boundaries of image and artificial intelligence.

ABOUT ME

I practice a form of research through image — at the intersection of photography, generative processes, and visual theory. As the author of From Real to Augmented (2026), I propose through the Attention–Intention–Message triad a framework for understanding authorship and artistic responsibility in an era where the image can be produced without gesture and without direct contact with the real. I do not create images about technology — I create images that put technology into question.

Visual projects built at the boundary between photography, AI, and symbol. The image becomes process, not document.
